Ron Dupuis earned a Diploma from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain in 1979, a Graduate Jeweller degree from the Canadian Jewellers Association in 1978 and Diamond Certificate from the Gemological Institute of America in 1977. After apprenticing as an appraiser and seeing a need for the public to achieve fair value for their unwanted jewellery, he pioneered specialized jewellery auctions in Canada. Today, his knowledge and 30+ years of auction experience are invaluable to both buyers and sellers.

Duncan Parker, FGA, FCGmA, CAP (CJA), Vice Presidentduncan

Previously, director of research at Harold Weinstein Ltd., a leading and respected jewellery appraisal company, Duncan has advised innumerable clients on the disposition of personal jewellery. Duncan is a columnist and contributor for industry magazines and journals. He has been an instructor of the gemstone course at Ryerson University, the Gemmology courses of George Brown College and Canadian Gemmological Association as well as instructor Master Valuer Program with the Canadian Jewellers Association. A renowned expert, he speaks regularly at international gem and jewellery conferences and symposiums, as well as at less formal events. He has served as President of the Canadian Gemmological Association since 1995.
